About the Artist
Valley Latini is a Colombian–American Visual artist based in NYC.
Valley started painting as a retreat and escape from technology. Quickly she discovered a style that she calls transgressive divinity, a world of divine beings in macabre situations. Through this tension she looks to capture the essence of sensuality.
Through her art, Valley tells stories and anti fairy tails, set in an alternative reality where heaven and hell collide. Her "girls," usually the principal subjects of her paintings, serve as an extension of herself, with each representing a different side of her subconscious.
Valley finds inspiration through her work dancing in New York City strip clubs and from performing music as a singer songwriter. Valley is an advocate for both female autonomy and the dignity of those who choose sex work.
